A shining star

Long weekend 之前，上個星期五，我們很巧的被顧客選到要Audit. 基本上就是來看你各項QA, QC 有沒有做好，一切都要符合GMP標準。 純水機每天使用前有沒有檢查、天平的校正記錄在哪，Oven的溫度控制記錄、人員的訓練、實驗室巡查等等。大家都戰戰兢兢，因為通常都會有意想不到的問題出現，加上我又是新人，還要學習如何應對。當然，面對這些我也是不會太緊張，經過嚴酷的博士班prelim 還有最後的口試，除了多了份自信之外，也學到不少應對技巧。

早上兩位檢查人員來巡視實驗室，問了一些簡單的問題，好像也沒有甚麼特別，輕鬆的就過關。之後他們移駕到會議室開始檢驗各項文件，比如說他們去年10月委託的case, 她們想要調閱當天純水機的記錄。這突顯了平常執行各項小細節、還有文件建檔歸位的重要性。好不容易找到他們所要求的各項文件，沒想到..................她們要求要看我的訓練文件。

慘得是，我因為是新人，又只是負責研發，還沒有真的handle客戶的case, 所以只是完成基本的訓練。我的經理，甚至還沒有把我的learning plan 輸入資料庫。好在之前我有把所有訓練完成的資料送給QA人員，已經建檔，所以還不算太糟。整個下午他們在資料室，我則是在實驗室擔心會不會因為我的問題導致他們有所不滿意。

下午緊湊的實驗做完準備回家的時候。QA 負責人拿了一個資料夾來跟我解釋我還有甚麼東西要補，然後他說 "You are a shining star today! They are all over you". 看來他們對我是很有興趣(可能想說從我的新進訓練比較可以找到漏洞)。"They even looked at your resume". 我倒是很好奇他們看我的履歷幹嗎? 難道一個公司想雇用甚麼人還要滿足顧客的需求? 但是他告訴我" They said you are terrific, we are so lucky to have you!" 哇! 雖然美國人也是蠻愛讚美人的，之前我經理也講過很多次他們找到我很高興，但是被Audit的人稱讚，真的感覺很棒。就這樣，沿路開車回家都很高興呢!

Before long weekend  we have customer audit. At the end of day, after they checked everything related to our records, lab, they also looked at MY training record. That, I am worried because I am still new and have not started to handle any customer case, instead, my main role is to develop method, more like R&D purposes.

At the end of day, man, I really wish I didn't bring this company any trouble. Our QA person came to talk to me and said "You are a shining star today, they are all over you!" That, made me worry even more, so I ask how that go. He said, "They even looked at your resume and said you are terrific, we are so lucky to have you". I was so happy to hear that, and I was happy on the way home.
